Webedia (located at 2, Rue Paul Vaillant Couturier, 92300 Levallois-Perret) in its capacity as Data Controller, attaches great importance to your privacy and is committed to building a strong and lasting relationship with you. The protection of your personal data is of paramount importance to us. 1. Why do we process your personal data and for how long?

When you use Website, we collect information, some of which may identify you and therefore constitute personal data. This is the case in particular when you decide to contact us.

2. Who are the recipients of your personal data?

• Your personal data is transmitted to Webedia employees who need to process it to offer you a quality service: customer service, marketing service, data service and IT service. We constantly do our utmost to protect your personal data. Upon receipt of your data, we apply strict security measures to limit the risk of a data breach. For example, we require that all our employees create strong and individual passwords.
• Your data is also transmitted to our subcontractors who provide services on our behalf, such as:
  • audience analysis
  • cookie consent management
  • monitoring your interactions on our Website
• In addition, we share your personal data with our advertising partners.
• Finally, we may transmit your personal data to lawyers, officers of the court and judicial officers, to the administrative or judicial authorities to which a dispute has been referred, as the case may be, in the context of compliance with legal obligations incumbent upon us or to enable us to defend our rights and interests.

 

3. Is your personal data sent outside the European Union?

To meet the aforementioned purposes, your personal data is transmitted to companies processing in countries outside the European Union, such as the United States. We ensure that these transfers are governed by a cross-border flow agreement that guarantees the protection of your personal data (standard contractual clauses issued by the European Commission and currently in force).

4. What are your rights?

• right to the portability of your data: you have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit it to another organisation
• right to obtain the restriction of processing: you may request to temporarily freeze the use of some of your data in order to verify its accuracy, to oppose its erasure or to exercise or defend your legal claims
• right to lay down general (with a digital trusted third party certified by CNIL) or specific guidelines (with the data controller) relating to the fate of your personal data after your death

5. How can you exercise your rights?
